I love my wife

I love my wife, and I can’t imagine not loving her. The problem is, there is not enough time in the day for me to write about my love for her. More than that, finding the words to say it never seems to satisfy me. It’s indescribable, the love I have for her.

Flip Wilson once said as his character Geraldine Jones – “Love is a feeling you feel, when you are about to feel a feeling you never felt before.”

I’ve always liked that line. Take away the sexual connotation and apply it to true love and you find that it is on target. Ask anyone who has been married, then remarried. The second marriages that lasts are usually the ones that can tell you the difference in how they feel when comparing marriages. When you get down to the nitty gritty, somewhere along the line there was a revelation of what love is.

So I close in saying that I love my wife more than anything in the world. And the icing on the cake is that I know she loves me too.
